Gigi Hadid is a model who is dating Bradley Cooper, and she also has rats. In an interview with Architectural Digest, during a conversation about how much she likes the color yellow, Hadid mentioned that her New York apartment has an infestation issue. “My outdoor space in New York is getting a little update because we had a rat problem,” Hadid said. “So that’s what I’m looking forward to.”
Hadid bought the $5.82 million three-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bath at Annabelle Selldorf’s terra-cotta-fronted 10 Bond Street at the end of 2018, a few years after grabbing another $3.97 million apartment in the building. (She’s reportedly combined them.)
All told, her $10 million mega-apartment came with a firepit, a grill, an outdoor refrigerator, and a 770-square-foot terrace teeming with rodents. (Perhaps she has terrace regrets.) But Hadid is more than just her rats: She also has a dedicated craft room for her daughter, Khai. “There’s one wall in there; that’s the wall she’s allowed to paint on in the house,” she says. “And we do all sorts in there, like clay and Shrinky-Dinks and obviously a lot of drawing and painting.”
Plus, things may be looking up with the rodents: According to New York City’s rat map, Hadid’s building passed a rat inspection last summer.
